Participants will explore best practices for making students feel welcome, building community, creating a user-friendly learning environment, and reducing barriers to success. Participants will: Identify ways to make online students feel more connected to instructor and peers, Develop strategies to use in an online learning environment to increase instructor presence, and Explore ways to create online learning communities through group work and collaboration tools/technologies.
