As we engage in the work of embracing diversity and ensuring inclusion on our campus, it is important to challenge structures that privilege certain voices over others, often through the exclusion of those historically underrepresented in higher ed. How do we work to dismantle the privileging of certain kinds of knowledge, as well as different methods for producing, expressing, and engaging with that knowledge? Where can we start?
