Learners can accurately assess the needs of their population and identify the research-based practices or initiatives that best meet those needs; develop a sustainability plan; articulate the key features of the practice; form and sustain a high functioning, diverse oversight team; and use data for continuous quality improvement and decision making.

Earning Criteria

Teams work on their own real-world project or initiative while going through the course. They assess the needs of their population, choose the best approach given concerns with fit, feasibility, and sustainability, map out a plan for obtaining buy in from key collaborators, discuss training and technical assistance requirements, develop data items and develop a plan for data collection, and leave the training with a detailed action plan.

Each team will include a diverse membership to represent key functions and expertise in the development of the project.
