Through in-person sustained dialogue practice, asynchronous activities, and readings, participants will learn about DEI-grounded dialogue, with attention to designing and facilitating dialogic practices that center intersectional equity in classroom practices.

Earning Criteria

Attend at least 8 of 10 synchronous 90 minute workshops. Actively participate in intergroup dialogue, collaborate in small group activities with peers, design and offer feedback for student-focused activities, and reflective sharing. Review and engage with online materials prior to workshop sessions and complete bi-weekly assignments.

Complete a DEI Informed Dialogic Pedagogy Portfolio to include Written Critical/Analytic Self Reflections of Personal Growth related to DEI Informed Work, DEI Informed Dialogic Pedagogy Teaching Statements, Re-Designed lesson and Activity Plans, Syllabus and overall Curricular Revisions, Mission Statement/Letters of Intent to incorporate this work in teaching.
