The microcertificate earner has demonstrated statistical literacy, the ability to understand statistics and statistical analyses as well as the ability to perform basic statistical procedures. They have also demonstrated descriptive and analytic methods in epidemiology and their application to research and practice in public health, clinical and preventive medicine, and finally the historical and conceptual concepts, key issues, frameworks, advancements, and core functions of public health.
