This badge is awarded by the James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy in partnership with the Ohio Society of Health-System Pharmacy (OSHP). Learners develop the knowledge and skills to influence policies that shape the pharmacy profession. Learners explore advocacy fundamentals, legislative process, communication strategies, and advocacy through engagement with Ohio legislators. Through real-world case studies and application, learners build a foundation for advocacy and leadership in pharmacy.

Earning Criteria

Complete all five modules within the 8-hour Advocacy in Pharmacy: Amplifying Our Voice and Impact course with a minimum score of 80%.

Complete all course assessments, including the pre-course knowledge check, post-course knowledge check, and all required assessments, with a minimum score of 80% on each assessment.

Submit a written advocacy plan and achieve a passing evaluation from the course director.
