This micro-credential is embedded in UCO’s CIED 5423 Reading Pedagogy for Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 6 academic course. Earners of the micro-credential have demonstrated skills essential to the effective teaching of reading and literacy, including various assessments and interventions, to students in PreK-6th grades. Students must earn an overall grade of B or higher to earn the micro-credential. This micro-credential fulfills the Science of Reading content requirements of Oklahoma SB 362.
