The International Cooperation for Human Rights badge is presented by the Human Rights Practice Program within the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences to recipients who 1) engage in a structured international human rights project; 2) cultivate cooperation and collaboration, on a sustained basis, with individuals and/or organizations outside the US.

Learners exhibit both leadership and teamwork within the context of a shared human rights project; contribute to a cooperatively developed meeting, event, document, or other outcome that advances human rights; and brainstorm areas of potential further collaboration.

Learners provide reactions to the experience via a survey, and offer personal reflections on the experience via a short essay.
