Successful completion of Public Health, Climate Change, and Resilient Food Systems with a minimum of 80%, including seven weekly asynchronous modules delivered in D2L Brightspace. Students examine how climate change affects food security with attention to disparities and differential impacts on men and women. The course explores strategies for building equitable, resilient food systems that advance public health and support sustainable solutions for diverse populations.

Completion of a five-part Signature Assignment in which learners sequentially apply the perspectives of a Food Security Expert, Public Health Policy Professional, and Health Equity Analysis to design and evaluate equity-informed interventions.

Submission of a Final Integrative Portfolio, synthesizing insights across all five Signature Assignment parts and reflecting on interdisciplinary approaches to food system reliance.

Equity Impact Analysis - "Do Food Security Interventions Narrow or Widen Inequities?" Learners take on a subject-matter-expert role to analyze whether public health interventions addressing food insecurity under climate change narrow or widen inequities among population groups within a given context.
