Students plan and implement community-based research projects relevant to protecting and advancing human rights in marginalized communities. Students learn to work collaboratively with communities in developing research questions. They choose and implement data collection methods in collaboration with communities. Students interpret findings and share/present results. Students safeguard ethical conduct and community research.

Students provide reactions to the the experience via a survey. They offer personal reflections on the experience via a short essay. Participation and research is assessed by a faculty member.
