This noncredit Academy is held on campus at the University at Albany's Rockefeller College and online and is open to all learners.

This course is designed for business professionals who want to understand the semiconductor sector and who will provide business-related services, such as finance, insurance, etc., to the industry.

The course draws on professional training materials and pedagogies developed by Rockefeller’s Project on International Security, Commerce, and Economic Statecraft (PISCES) team of faculty experts.

The format is a highly interactive, eight-week hybrid experience. The first and last sessions will held in-person at UAlbany, while the six intermediary sessions will be held live online in Zoom sessions. Participants will receive readings to complete, as well as occasional short videos to watch, outside of class. Sessions will rely on reading assignments, active learning exercises, and guest lectures by policy and scientific practitioners in the field and writing assignments.
