Cloud Computing with Microsoft Azure is a self-paced online program that covers the fundamental concepts needed to understand cloud computing on the Microsoft Azure platform. Azure is a cloud computing service created by Microsoft for building, testing, deploying, and managing applications and services through Microsoft-managed data centers. Earners deploy a simple web application to the Azure platform where they can see the application run in a web browser.

Earning Criteria

Participants are asked to demonstrate and use Microsoft Azure. Earners take the Hello World web application introduced in the course and customize it based on the project instructions, deploy the web application to the earner's Azure web application service, test the application in their browser to see that it is deployed to the Azure cloud and available on the Internet.
