Tools for AI and Data Analytics: This class will help students build expertise in the basic tools that will help them in advanced data analytics and artificial intelligence. The class will include Python and R programming that students will apply to basic problems of classification, clustering, and regression. Assessing data quality and cleaning up data to get it ready for analytics will also be covered in the class.

Advanced Data Analytics: This course will cover data analysis beyond basic classification, clustering, and regression. There will be an emphasis on producing actionable information and robust model evaluation. Students will work on individual and group projects that will focus on real-world predictions. Most of the data processing and analysis will be implemented in Python and R.

Business Applications of AI: AI and ML are reshaping business—from manufacturing to digital humans. This course explores their promise across finance, marketing, cybersecurity, and management, while addressing risks like cyberattacks, data poisoning, and bias. Students will examine ethical concerns, societal impacts, and technical foundations, learning how to harness AI’s potential while mitigating its threats.
