Wellness Initiative Program 2022-2023: Level 2

Professional, interactive lecture series that aims to engage earners in professional development through personal wellness; centered around translating personal development into professional skills. The goal is to provide students with tools for self-care while enabling them to apply the new skills in educational and workplace settings. Earners who attend 5 out of 6 seminars are eligible for the mastery credential. Level 2 focuses on self-care, self-worth, and supportive relationships.

Earning Criteria

Earners must accept an invitation to a Canvas course provided by the Office of Student Affairs so that they may access Nearpod activities as well as submit pre- and post-session surveys.
Along with a mini-lecture, the session will include an interactive, collaborative activity through Nearpod.
Assessments include: Pre-session, post-session, and post program surveys. Surveys are administered via Canvas to communicate with participants, upload resources, and allow group discussion. Survey results are recorded anonymously via Microsoft Forms through a UMMC affiliated account for privacy and security. Adequate participation in group exercises will be required for credit for completing the program.
