The course objective is to teach the student information systems and technology fundamentals as the starting point for a cyber-related career. It is the foundation onto which more advanced topics in systems administration and cybersecurity are built. This course will give students the knowledge and skills to set up and use a computer securely and to safely maintain it. Students will be able to provide informal support for personal computers and simple local area networks.
