Participants build programs that apply data analysis, statistical methods, machine learning, and Artificial Intelligence techniques, and are adept at using appropriate data models to solve real-world problems.

Earning Criteria

Completed three required courses: Big Data and Python for Performance, Data Analysis: an Introduction, and Relational Database Design and SQL Programming, as well as at least two elective courses from any of the following tracks: Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Engineering. Earned 15 units. Met all requirements for a UCSC Silicon Valley Certificate in Data Science and Data Analytics.
