The course objective is to enhance the knowledge of CBP field personnel on CBP enforcement policies and procedures and to assist them in making admissibility, documentation and enforcement decisions, with a strong emphasis on case development and penalty initiation. The ultimate goal of the training is to improve collections of revenue, fines, duties, and fees owed to the government. Prerequisites: 3 years of CBP trade-related job experience and completion of basic level training.
