Foundational Leadership Certification for Mission

Issued by Leadership Development | The Salvation Army Canada and Bermuda

Earners of this badge develop essential leadership skills such as navigating difficult interactions, providing feedback, taking a coaching approach to leadership, and equity, diversity, justice and inclusion awareness. Participants complete six Harvard ManageMentor® courses, implement On-the-Job Action Plans, and engage in online workshops where content is explored through a mission-focused lens. This badge represents a mission-specific stream of the Foundational Leadership Certification.

Earning Criteria

Complete 6 Harvard ManageMentor® courses including Leading People, Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging. Difficult Interactions, and Coaching.
Complete an assessment at the end of each course to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of leadership best practices.
Participate in 3 interactive online Leadership Café Workshops on a variety of topics (90 min. each).
Create and implement On-The-Job Action Plans
