Earning Criteria

  • The earner has completed the seven Learning Units defined in the Conformance Requirements document and passed the ArchiMate Essentials 3.2 assessment.
  • Applicants are required to be certified to ArchiMate 3 Practitioner (ArchiMate 3 Level 2).
  • The path to achieve the ArchiMate Essentials 3.2 certification credential is to complete the Learning Units defined in the Conformance Requirements document and a pass result for the ArchiMate Essentials 3.2 assessment.
  • Candidates are required to have passed the ArchiMate Essentials 3.2 assessment. The assessment consists of 20 questions in a multiple-choice format with a 75% pass mark (15/20).
  • The duration of the credential is indefinite – this certification credential is to a given version of the Body of Knowledge and does not expire, so there are no re-certification or renewal requirements.
