Earning Criteria

Architects achieve this Milestone by submitting a comprehensive package of information describing project and other experiences for review by a Distinguished Architect. The assessment criteria include all of the Skills mentioned above. At Level 3, Architects must be able to demonstrate these skills at a "deep" level, having mastered the state of the art.

Architects must have experience successfully directing a significantly complex architecture initiative, developing a solution typically involving different stakeholders, multiple lines of business, many solution varieties, highly regulated environments, (de)mergers, acquisitions, business transformations, international and/or global scale, etc.

Architects must have experience successfully directing a project and developing a solution that resulted in significant positive and measurable business value and/or impact.

Architects must have experience in setting and driving architecture goals and objectives for a significant strategic enterprise initiative.
