Earning Criteria

• Professional Architects at Level 3 must continually develop and maintain their knowledge of the technology trends that are relevant to developing solutions for solving business problems, so they are able to leverage that body of knowledge into feasible solutions.
• Professional Architects at Level 3 must continually develop and maintain an understanding of their client’s business as it pertains to their client’s vertical industry (e.g., telecoms, financial, etc.).
• Professional Architects are required to continually develop their skills and knowledge of the latest architecture-related trends and techniques.
• Professional Architects must make contributions to the architecture profession, through publications, teaching, research collaboration, development of training, or participation in professional organizations.
• Professional Architects at Level 3 are expected to contribute to the growth of the architecture community and facilitate the professional development of multiple aspiring Architects, through teaching, serving on peer review boards, and/or coaching. Mentoring others in their career progression as an Architect is also required.
• Candidates are expected to have achieved Open Master Certified Architect (Open CA) Level 2 certification before applying for this badge.
