Earning Criteria

Technical Specialists achieve this Milestone by submitting a comprehensive package of information describing project and other experiences for review by a Level 2 or Level 3 Certified Technical Specialist. The assessment criteria include all of the Skills mentioned above. At Level 2, Specialists must be able to demonstrate these skills at a "deep" level, having mastered the state of the art.

Candidates must have performed as a Leader of their Technical Specialty in a major client engagement or the development, implementation, and/or management of a major project or subsystem.

Candidates must have performed as a Technical Specialist in a successful solution/engagement in which their artifacts were used or otherwise met their acceptance criteria

This milestone badge is open to all applicants. There is no requirement for any previous badge or certification.
