Earning Criteria

Design, apply for and be selected for support to undertake a substantial personal professional development opportunity in the power sector involving international or domestic travel such as work placements, conferences, research sabaticals etc. Establish connections with relevant stakeholders, organise travel and undertake the experience. Access up to $20,000 support from the API's TJ Effeney Scholarship (supported by Energy Queensland / Ergon Energy / Energex and the Effeney Family)
Document and reflect on the experience including the knowledge developed, connections established, insights and recommendations for Australians, and impacts on your career plans; share these insights with other young Australians interested in careers and changes in the Australian power sector through written reports and live and online presentations to audiences facilited by the API (eg API Board, Summer School, bursary students).
Have been previously selected by the API as a recipient of the API's Bursary scholarship and entry into the national community of undergraduate students passionate about careers in the Australian power sector.
