AMCOMP Workers' Compensation Professional Designation

Issued by The American Society of Workers' Compensation Professionals

AMCOMP will certify professionals who demonstrate proficiency in workers' compensation by the successful completion of the WCP® course curriculum final exam. The certification will be designated as “WCP®” (Workers' Compensation Professional) and is a registered trademark of AMCOMP. Earners successfully complete the WCP course material and related assessments and the WCP final accreditation exam, inclusive of all chapters (closed-book) with a score of 70% or higher.

Earning Criteria

Business professions interested in receiving the designation must complete an application for the course they are interested in taking. The course is provided via self-study or a combination of self-study and virtual learning.
The cost of the designation varies depending on if the participant is taking it via self-study, virtual, and/or if they are a member of The American Society of Workers Compensation Insurance Professionals.
Earners have to complete a rigorous course covering general information material related to workers compensation and study content from the textbook Workers Compensation The first Hundred Years. Earners have 6 months to complete the course, chapter assessments, and prepare for the final assessment.
Earners receive a 70% or higher on the final accreditation exam (closed book).
