This non-credit co-curricular micro-credential is awarded to graduate students from the School of the Sciences who successfully complete the program's curriculum over 2 semesters. The program is designed to develop students' teaching skills, strengthen oral and written communication, provide effective presentation skills, and navigate STEM classroom management. The training promotes the ability to effectively transfer knowledge by using engaging pedagogy.

Students will successfully complete all training modules in the learning management system (LMS). They will also demonstrate growth and improvement on submitted work.

Teach a semester in a laboratory environment. Duties include content delivery, fair grading, and classroom management through an ungraded pedagogy (grading for growth).

Earners will obtain teaching evaluations from their students, providing real feedback from the laboratory students.

Students will have their teaching observed by the laboratory coordinator. The coordinator will evaluate presentation techniques, mastery of the LMS, and provide feedback on the success of the teaching and presentation techniques used by the earner.
