The course objective is to educate law enforcement and non-commissioned personnel assigned to crime scene investigation. The general course topics include death investigation; arrival at scene; documenting the scene; documenting evidence; documenting the decedent; exiting the scene; special considerations; scene wrap-up; and autopsy.
