Earners can apply the tools and techniques of innovation and entrepreneurship from problem identification through to solution and business model ideation. They are able to rapidly identify and transform problems into opportunities for innovation, prototype solutions for the problem, develop appropriate business models to support the creation of the innovation and communicate and present new ideas in an engaging and compelling manner to gain support for the proposed innovation.

Earning Criteria

Complete a 6-module program with 2 modules delivered in a 1-day workshop and 4 modules online, incl two mentor check-in sessions. Participants research, discover and articulate an agreed "problem statement". Participants ideate to create an innovative solution which is tested by prototyping and validating the chosen idea to support the effectiveness of their solution. Participants must also work on the relative components of a business plan to help establish the viability of the product/service.

Participants work in small teams, completing workbook exercises to arrive at a final presentation for a proposed business idea. Participants attend a final one-day workshop to pitch their ideas 'shark tank style' to a live panel.
