Training Officer Certificate

Issued by Surf Life Saving NSW

The aim of this course is to provide participants with the skills and knowledge to confidently deliver Surf Life Saving awards to new and existing members. The course provides participants with the opportunity to practice their own skills in session planning, training delivery and course evaluation in a safe and supportive learning environment. A Statement of Attainment accrediting two nationally recognised Units of Competency will be issued on successful completion of this course.

Earning Criteria

Micro-learning (bite-size) delivered over a period of five (5) weeks with learning, activities and submissions to be completed on a weekly basis. Each module within the course contains the following elements: video lectures, core and recommended readings, discussions, activities for application of the content and links to useful resources.
