The course introduces the student to the fundamentals of physics (and requires knowledge of basic algebra, trigonometry, and elementary calculus). The general course topics include kinematics, motion in one and two dimensions (including Newton's Laws), dynamics, energy and power, particles, linear momentum, gravity, fluids, relativity, oscillations, waves, and thermodynamics and heat. Prerequisites: Calculus I (or its equivalent).
