Navigating Global Development Finance
This course is designed for journalists and civil society organizations to deepen their understanding of development finance, with a specific focus on the role of data analysis. Key competencies include data analysis, journalism, and policy evaluation related to development finance. Participants will engage with topics like foundational data concepts, data journalism narratives, critical data and visualization techniques, and an in-depth study of development finance models and dynamics.

In order to successfully complete the course, participants must complete the following: attain a minimum of 75% for each of the four online module quizzes; attend a minimum of 75% of the in-person sessions (at least 18 hours of seat time); write up and submit a data journalism piece outline as a capstone project, earning at least 75% on the project rubric.
