Evidence in Action project

The mission of the Evidence in Action project, led by the Behavioural Insights Team and funded by the Wellcome Trust, was to support teachers of KS3 physics to engage with pedagogical research. The project involved four sessions of CPD, co-developed with STEM Learning, and a pilot of a new module of electricity lesson plans, designed to support teachers to engage with research and increase its use in their practice.

Earning Criteria

This STEM Certificate was issued for participation in the Evidence in Action project, involving: A course of four virtual twilight CPD modules across the 2020/2021 school year (4.5 hours in total); being part of the first cohort of teachers to pilot the Evidence in Action teaching resources (8 hours of teaching material for KS3 electricity); engaging with EEF and IOP academic research platforms and putting the evidence into action
