Earners will demonstrate base-level competency in ethical decision-making by: Completing a values assessment called the ELI Applying the ELI framework ethical dilemmas, in class and on their own Becoming aware of their ethical blindspots and the fraud triangle Creating a personal ethics code Earners will participate in a discussion with a convicted white-collar felon and attorneys who are knowledgable about the legal process and/or the ramifications of ethical breaches in the workplace.

Earning Criteria

Complete the Ethical Lens Inventory Assessment

Participate in a class discussion about the Ethical Lens Model

Complete a case study which asks students to correctly identify the ethical dilemma, separate facts and assumptions, evaluate the ethical dilemma from the four different dimensions and apply the correct lens to address and resolve the ethical conflict

Prepare a personal ethics code and obtain feedback from 5 parents/friends on the values identified

Attend a presentation by a white collar felon or other business representative on the consequences of poor ethical decision-making
