Participants will be able to identify and explain: disability diversity concepts (types and terminology); historical and contemporary perspectives of disability models; legal and ethical frameworks surrounding disabilities in the assemble and event industry; accessibility and accommodations models to promote inclusive assembly and event experiences; language that respects and includes all individuals; customer service standards that commit to effective communication and inclusive practices.
