Inferential Statistics: Probability Theory, Inferential Statistics, and Hypothesis Testing
Earners demonstrated understanding of inferential statistics concepts including hypothesis testing, t-tests, binomial and discrete distributions, tests involving categorical variables, descriptive statistics and data visualization as exploratory measures, sampling methods, Central Limit Theorem, normal and standard normal distributions, tests involving continuous variables and their underlying distributions, and testing differences in means and building confidence intervals about the mean.

Earning Criteria
-
Criteria includes 1-2 quizzes over each assessed skill and a final project. Quizzes cover the following skills: principles of hypothesis testing, t-tests, binomial and categorical distributions and tests, descriptive statistics and visualization, sampling methods, normal distribution and the Central Limit Theorem, and testing differences in means. A minimum score of 80% was required on all assessments.
