Students in this course will learn the fundamentals to read, write, and speak in Spanish. This course offers students the opportunity to learn the basics of Spanish through both a linguistic and cultural lens, exploring the cultures and customs of several Spanish-speaking countries along with basic grammatical structures and useful vocabulary for making introductions, describing university and home life, communicating current and future plans, and discussing various activities and interests.
