Sophia’s Anatomy and Physiology II course is a continuation of Anatomy and Physiology I. This course covers the structure and functions of the organ systems. The course begins with the cardiovascular system investigating topics such as; blood, the heart, blood vessels, and circulatory pathways. Students will explore the endocrine (hormones), lymphatic, immunity, and respiratory systems. They will also investigate how the body obtains energy and controls the composition of fluids.
