Graduates will understand the concepts of Business Intelligence (BI) and Big Data Analytics and appreciate the strategic importance of data in business. They will be able to critically evaluate the opportunities and limitations of data analytics, select appropriate BI tools, acquire and clean relevant data for analysis, and apply statistical modelling (i.e., linear and non-linear), data visualisation and advanced techniques such as forecasting algorithms to support data-driven decision-making.
