The Intermediate Online Instructor Certificate is granted to Saint Mary's faculty who have successfully completed CELT's asynchronous training on applying learning theories to advance the use of technology in the online classroom. Earners are able to use learning theory to create and facilitate student-centered group work, apply advanced principles of online course design, and demonstrate knowledge of advanced pedagogical concepts to create and sustain a high-quality online learning environment.
