The DEIB In Action badge earner will understands D+E+I+B, unwraps unconscious bias, and learns to apply the tools of servant leadership through a training experience with high school students.

Earning Criteria

Students will learn to define and distinguish the difference between diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging; explore and uncover unconscious bias, and be able to identify contributors/factors in both elements of healthy and toxic environments.

Badge earners learn how to apply the tools of servant leadership, by participating in one of two high school training sessions for students preparing for an internship experience. Sessions will allow earners to engage and partner with students as they learn about professional team-building, resume-writing, or professional etiquette for good communication. They will receive feedback from session instructors on their engagement.
