Earning Criteria

Production Documentation: Students must submit a complete and well-organized prompt book, including all necessary paperwork such as rehearsal schedules, cue cheese, and performance reports.

Participation in at least one full-scale production as an Assistant Stage Manager (ASM) and two full-scale productions as a Production Stage Manager (PSM). Demonstrate the ability to manage a rehearsal, including calling cues, maintaining order and documenting the process.

Obtain positive evaluations from directors and faculty members on their performance as a stage manager, focusing on leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Pass a practical exam demonstrating the ability to manage technical elements such as lighting and sound during a live performance

Submit a reflective essay or video detailing their learning journey and challenges
