This 3-day course provides training for Primavera’s Risk Management solution. Badge earners will gain a thorough background in the basic concepts of risk management using examples of specific risk modelling techniques. A lab-style workshop on the third day allows badge earners to apply the learned techniques in using a risk register to assess risks qualitatively or quantitatively and to propose, evaluate and justify mitigation, running a risk analysis, and tracking mitigation with the project.

Earning Criteria

Master basic schedule and cost risk analysis theory so that you can apply a risk assessment to a project schedule, resources and costs, interpret, communicate and justify a risk analysis to the project team, management and stakeholders, and use risk management to improve your project management, set targets and contingency, and set realistic corporate and customer expectations. Some previous knowledge of the fundamentals of project management is beneficial to this course.
