The Cyber Security Foundations for Business Professionals microcredential provides key security governance and risk management capabilities critical for the cyber security workforce. It provides learners with short, focused modules of study with two parts studied concurrently: Part A Introduction to Cyber Security for Business, and Part B Cyber Security Governance and Compliance. The microcredential is skills based, responsive to industry needs, easily accessible, and supports lifelong learning.

Earning Criteria

Learners are required to participate in two live online 2-hour combined lecture and workshop sessions for each week of the 12-week teaching and learning period. Learners are also required to complete four assessment tasks: two video presentations, a research report, and a written analysis report.
