This course is designed for any student interested in building and applying leadership skills. Students learn about the values, skills, and strategies that build effective leadership, such as : communication skills, facilitation, cultural competencies, self-direction, and growth mindset. Participants practice responsible and informed citizenship and rotate through a variety of authentic peer-leadership positions, and meet with community leaders to provide a “community voice” to public issues.
