A Pre-Apprenticeship course designed to prepare students for careers in construction, weatherization, and the building trades. Students will learn construction safety, tool use, and basic carpentry on active job sites. Students will refine skills as they rehabilitate and weatherize affordable housing units earning OSHA-10 and National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) construction certifications. This course is a mix of classroom/shop training and site experience.
