Designed for students interested in AmeriCorps service and working towards earning a Segal Education Award, participants will work with full-time AmeriCorps members to design a service portfolio that documents their learning and demonstrates proficiency in the transferable skill of responsible and involved citizenship. Participants will complete a community assessment and study local issues and organizations to plan service projects that reflect both the community's needs and their interests.
