Earners of this badge completed a foundational workshop and achieved the following objectives: create meaningful dialogue about the impact and pervasiveness Native imagery, mascots and logos have in our society; demonstrate openness to new perspectives, recognize and critically reflect upon the concept of Native appropriation, and urge action to effect social change. Participants explored and reflected on the role of identity in their personal and professional experiences.
