Earners of the Reading Shop Prints badge have developed the skills necessary to interpret the elements of working drawings of manufactured parts, advanced mechanical components, assembly drawings, and fabrication prints. This interpretation is used to identify material requirements for manufacturing parts, and aids in determining proper procedure for making the components. They can identify basic print concepts including views, scale, tolerances, cams, gears, and sheet metal drawings.
