The methods of assessment include quizzes, examinations, written papers, and a comprehensive final proctored exam with a minimum passing score of 70 percent.

The general course topics include law, the judicial system, and business organizations; contracts; agency, employment law, and property; sales, consumer protection and negotiable instruments; and insurance, secured transactions, bankruptcy, torts, and crimes.
