Level 4 Sports Coach (School Coach)
Earners of this badge have demonstrated competence as a Sports Coach (School Coach) based on the occupational standard published by IFATE. This includes applied knowledge of national trends in education, professional practice, coaching philosophies and team development. Successfully met the requirements of the Sports Coach (School Coach) End-point Assessment delivered by Pearson as the registered EPAO. The End-point assessment consists of a Work-based project and Presentation with questioning, a Coaching session plan and Practical observation with questioning, and a Professional discussion underpinned by a portfolio.

Completed a minimum of 18 months learning and development to meet the knowledge, skills, and behaviours in the Sports Coach (School Coach) occupational standard.

Achieved Level 2 English and Maths qualifications.
Standards
The broad purpose of the Sport Coach occupation is to use extensive technical and tactical sports knowledge and skills to design and deliver coaching programmes that engage, motivate and evolve participants’ skills and performance.
