This includes applied knowledge of care planning and review, professional boundaries, duty of care and relevant statutory standards/codes of practice. Skills and behaviours demonstrated include mentoring and supporting colleagues, care management, collaborative working, safeguarding and the Six C's (care, compassion, courage, communication, competence, commitment)

Successfully met the requirements of the Lead Adult Care Worker End-point Assessment delivered by Pearson as a registered EPAO. The End-Point Assessment consists of a Situational Judgement Test and Professional Discussion.

Completed a minimum of 18 months learning and development to meet the knowledge, skills and behaviours in the Lead Adult Care Worker occupational standard.

Achieved Level 2 English and Maths qualifications. Achieved Level 3 Diploma in Care.

Lead Adult Care Workers are the frontline staff who help adults with care and support needs to achieve their personal goals and live as independently and safely as possible, enabling them to have control and choice in their lives. They also have responsibility for providing supervision, frontline leadership, guidance and direction for others.
